Yatoo-i talk - Lynn

Hi All,

Finally got around to setting up another blog page for Yahoo-i talk - the link to my main blog is here:

and to my website:

For those who don't know me, I am a visual artist based in the NW Highlands of Scotland, now "coming into the light" as a very special place thanks to the North Coast 500 which is bringing this area to a larger worldwide audience.

I have been involved with YATOO since 2012/13 and enjoyed visiting S Korea to participate in GNAP in 2013 & 2014 - a very special time with fantastic memories - I hope to return again someday, but over recent years I have been working here in my home area.  I have just completed a year long artist in residence period in 2017 at the world renowned Inverewe Garden & Estate and continue to work closely with the team there to bring nature art to a wider audience and build an artist network to embed the arts as an essential and rewarding part of life for the community here and of course for those who visit to enjoy the West Highlands.

Today am enjoying some fine winter sunshine - I have been out for a wander on the beach and in woodland nearby - am blessed to live in a beautiful rural area with plenty inspiration and nature to play with!

  3. I really like the connection you make. Do you know what sort of tree is this? I don't think I have seen this sort of reddish colour bark.
